July's Glossybox

Contents: July's Gossybox (12.95 inc p&p)

Another  month, another Glossybox review, and after last month's box being a little disappointing in terms on contents, I was really pleased to see July's was a 'themed' box; these always seem to be a little better and more logical in terms of contents (most of the time!) July's theme was Seaside Splash and came beautifully presented in an azure blue box with lots of coral and starfish printed all over it. Top marks for looks!

On opening the box, the first product that caught my eye was the Ciate Paint Pots nail polish, which made my heart sink a little; I swear every single Glossybox contains a nail polish these days, or maybe it's just mine?! Since becoming a convert to gel nails I haven't been using 'normal' polish at all; however the colour of this one is enough to persuade me to at least try it in between gel manicures. It's a beautiful orangey red, and I am really looking forward to trying it out. This is a full sized product which costs £9 so in one product the box has almost paid for itself, which is really encouraging.

The second full-sized product in the box was the Anatomicals 'Spray misty for me' facial sprits, which can be used on bare skin or over makeup as a setting spray. I've been really interested to try these so-called setting sprays and this one doesn't disappoint; it refreshes makeup whilst leaving the skin sheeny and glowing, not greasy. It also smells amazing too! This retails at £6.

Next there were a couple of samples; a Pukka Ayurevda radiance serum, which I've not even opened yet so can't really comment on, but I do love using serums so I'm sure I'll be able to form an opinion on it sharpish, and a Coola Organic Mineral Face tinted moisturiser, which I was sceptical about (it looked very orange as it came out of the tube) but actually it blends really well; I've been wearing this over another serum and daily moisturiser (I have quite dry skin) and it provides enough sheer coverage and sun protection to suit my needs in this very hot weather. The last thing I feel like doing in the heat is slapping a load of foundation on, and even if I did, it would have slipped off completely after my 25 minute daily commute. This lightweight moisturiser covers and conceals where needed without leaving my skin looking cakey or too dark. Perfect!

The final product that I can't wait to test is this Alterna Haircare Bamboo Style boho waves tousled texture mist. I love salt sprays and beachy hair and this volumising texturiser sounds like it will be right up my street. I'll let you know!

What did you get in your Glossybox this month?
