So, I'm pretty sure the title of this post is actually the same as the name given to the stripper troupe of likely lads in one of my favourite films, The Full Monty. Naked associations aside, I couldn't think of a better way to accurately sum up these amazing shoes....I love metallic shoes, especially in the summer!
I don't wear an awful lot of colour, my wardrobe is mainly made up of neutrals and a metallic accessory is a great way of making more of a statement within a plainer look. I really love the shape of slipper shoes, and this Jonak pair from Spartoo look both comfortable and super cute. I would wear them with skinny white jeans and a slouchy vest-they'd also look great to play up a monochrome outfit and make it a little more interesting.
Slipper shoes have definitely had a 'moment' in terms of trends and I must say that they are the style I turn to if I decide not to reach for my trusty ballet shoes! They definitely tackle that masculine/feminine aesthetic too, and can be made to look girly or to add edge to a simple look. I love them! What do you think?
