Vintage Find

wearing: Gap midi and stripe top, Jane Norman chelsea boots, vintage jacket

I made a great little find in Weston super Mare last week when I was visiting my mum: this rather natty little vintage jacket in a charity shop there, at just £3 I knew it would be coming home with me because it is a) navy, b) slouchy, and c) has a bracelet length sleeve AND shoulder pads. What's not to like?! I have worn it a few times since I bought it because it's a great weight for this time of year and I am obsessional about navy at the best of times; I couldn't resist the combination of this jacket with a stripe, some grey marl, and a tawny boot. I really want to start wearing more summery clothing but we really haven't had the weather, it's been vile all week which I haven't minded too much as I've been working, and actually today it didn't rain which was great but there wasn't much in the way of sun! I made a trip to visit my family again today and managed to strike more gold in the charity shops...somehow I came home with a new (to me) top and 3 pairs of shoes....and still had change from a tenner. I am now going to watch the rest of "the hoarder next door" and then berate myself for my shoe collection which is rapidly spiralling into danger zone territory....!

That jacket is fab on you, it reminds me of a Chinese worker's jacket, quite utilitarian and brilliant for dressing up or down. £3 is a bargain!
Those hoarder programmes make me quite sad, my Mum and Grandma were both like that and my attempts to help them drove me mad. xxx

Love this blazer what a fab find the shape is perfect and looks awesome teamed with the skirt. Wow hun you really are the charity shop Queen if it was a sport you would certainly win gold ;))).

I am thinking of growing my fringe out but it is such effort it gets to a certain length and I cut it back in. I know you were thinking of getting one give it some serious thought as it is hard to grow out lol x x
