I've not felt inspired to write my blog for such a long time, and I'm not even sure if anyone still reads here, but I recently got a reminder to pay my annual subscription for my domain name and it got me to thinking, is it time to wrap up this slice of the internet?
I started this blog back in 2009 and I used to get my boyfriend (now husband) to take photos, or my mum, or I would take photos of myself in the mirror with my digital camera (my phone definitely didn't have a camera then!)
Not to make myself sound old but there were really very few 'bloggers' on the scene in 2009 and I was so lucky to join the industry at a time when it was just beginning to burgeon, I got to work on some amazing campaigns and with some fabulous brands. Some of them have come and gone, but the contacts I made and the opportunities that came my way were really memorable.
I'm not sure I have anything new to bring to the table but equally I don't feel ready to stop writing the blog just yet. So maybe I'll just keep on musing away to myself like I did in 2009, with no expectation that anyone is reading! I think you can come to expect more of the same; fashion, beauty, a little bit of home, some charity shop finds (when I can get back in to charity shopping in the same way as I did pre-pandemic!) and the odd high street barg or two.
I won't say I will post weekly but I will try and make an effort to post more than I have done this year so far!
