Harvey Nichols Bristol Intelligent Beauty event
On Wednesday night I headed down to my local Harvey Nichols to attend their Intelligent Beauty event, held in their beauty department. It's a great space, with plenty of brands that you can only get there - such as Oribe and Fenty, and other amazing skincare cosmetic brands such as Hourglass and Skin Laundry. Not only that, they offer on-site beauty services, such as Nails Inc manicures and deluxe brow packages at the Blink Brow Bar.
The evening constituted a mixture of talks and workshops, brand introductions and demos, and the chance to try samples from different beauty houses. I chatted to representatives from Pixi, Oribe and Hourglass to name just a few, and it was really insightful to find out more about the brands and the products. Oribe is available exclusively at Harvey Nichols or the Phylosophie salon in Bath, so it was really good to get to see the products demonstrated and find out more about them.
I also got a lovely goody bag of treats to sample, so no doubt I'll be able to share further thoughts on brands and companies that are new to me, after I've given them a go!
