1940's Jeans

Wearing: ASOS jeans (here) vintage bag (similar here) Marni x H&M sandals (similar here) ASOS White blouse (similar here)

I don't think I've ever shot these jeans for the blog which is unusual as they are one of my favourite pairs ever. It's so hard to find what I would call 'smart' denim; i.e. without raw hems, lots of rips or tons of details, so when I spotted this pair I knew I had to snap them up.

The flat front detail and indigo denim makes them smart enough to wear to work, which I did with this silk blouse tucked in from ASOS White. I actually scored this off eBay for a fiver, brand new and unworn, and I absolutely love it even though it does look a bit like a chefs top!

I dug out my faithful Marni x H&M collab sandals as well, trying to shake things up after wearing my Kurt Geiger ones almost daily since my holiday. They are so timeless, I think I bought them in around 2012 (whenever that collab was!) but year after year I get them out and wear them again and again. The only downside is that they are completely flat, and so can make my back hurt if I wear them for too long as it's pretty much like being barefoot. But they are so flattering and comfortable in other ways that I do put up with that! You can still find this exact pair on eBay or Vestiaire Collective from time to time and if they're a good price, I would recommend them.
