Products I've Used Up #27

December empties: Skyn Iceland face wipes (here) Renu eye cream (here) Elizabeth Arden Prevage serum (here) The Organic Pharmacy Rose face cream (here) iS Clinical Cleansing Complex (review here)

The last time I posted about products I'd used up was back in October and over the final months of 2016 I managed to get through quite a few of my backlog of beauty products tucked away in the bathroom cupboard. I am trying to avoid buying more skincare until I've finished up what I've got, and I've managed to get through a few favourites since my last post which I thought I'd share here.

I rarely use makeup remover wipes, except for when I travel, but I loved these Skyn Iceland cleansing cloths which remove makeup as well as refreshing the skin. Containing white willow bark and cucumber, they are gentle and non astringent and didn't leave the horrible dryness that face wipes usually do. I wouldn't use them daily, but for a quick refresh they are really useful. Buy here

I've dedicated an entire post to the iS Clinical cleansing complex - check that out here and you'll see why I used this one up! I have a second bottle of this which I am using at the minute, and really recommend it.

This Renu firming active lift for the eye and lip was another product I enjoyed using - I used this for my eye area only so can't comment on it's effectiveness as a lip lift, but it certainly hydrated and smoothed my eye area, even if I couldn't discern any visible lift. I would probably rebuy this, though, as it was lovely to use. Buy here

There's been a lot of hype about the Elizabeth Arden Prevage range, and with good cause. This serum was only a sample size but it was a really nice texture, and blended into the skin easily. Whether I used it morning or night, it worked well with my skincare routine and made a good base for makeup. Buy here

Vegan, ethical and organic products are a beauty buzzword at the moment and this Organic Pharmacy face cream highlighted how fantastic skincare can be without any added parabens or artificial nasties. The cream was gently and quickly absorbed. I really liked it but ultimately preferred my go-to Nivea soft for everyday, but it's a lovely product, and smells amazing. Buy here
