My capsule wardrobe project is still going strong and I've now switched over my wardrobe (sort of) to the spring capsule. It's a little difficult because the seasons are still so changable, it's difficult to know if I should pack away my knitwear yet (probably not) and though there have been some sunny days, it's not yet warm enough for bare arms or legs (in my opinion!)

These jeans from ASOS have been the mainstay of all my capsule wardrobes so far and I am wearing them again for spring and most likely summer too. They are the perfect fit and wash; I wish ASOS still did them but I think they have been discontinued (gutted, this always happens!) otherwise I'd be tempted to get another pair. I love the soft denim and the girlfriend fit.

Topshop Boutique can always be relied on for great items and this knitted top is just lovely. I bought it in the sale because I was finding that I was wearing my Finery polo top so frequently, this is a similar style so I knew I would get the wear from it.

Jeans and ballet flats is such a simple but chic look. I love the way that ballerinas smarten up any look; a friend once commented that I always wear 'shoes' over trainers and I think that's because I just don't feel comfortable in trainers a lot of the time; I don't mind Converse or Superga but I'll almost always choose a ballet flat, given the option!
