Fashion Maths #5

Topshop leopard print coat (similar here and here) Uniqlo denim shirt (here) New Look jeans (here) New Look boots (here)

I really can't wait to change up my wardrobe for the spring time. I love to wear dark colours but I feel like I've done that through the whole of the winter and it's time for a different palette. Now, I'm not a huge fan of colour so I won't be reaching for brights but even just changing the shade of my favourite denims is enough to hit refresh on the wardrobe!

I'm on the lookout for a pale pair of jeans that I can wear over the spring and summer. I would like a pair of 501's ideally so I'm scouring the chazzas for those, but if that fails I really like this girlfriend pair from New Look. The brand is really on point at the moment, I also love these suede ankle boots which are also from there.

I've got a lovely vintage denim shirt which I wear a lot when the weather is nice, and to double up denim is easy to do when you pick different shades. I really like this Uniqlo shirt too, if you choose a slightly thicker denim you can also wear it open like a jacket.

I spotted Alexa Chung recently wearing a loose trench, pale denim and beige ankle boots and this is where this outfit inspiration has come from. I like the idea of being able to enjoy the tones and colours of spring without having to particularly wear colour! I added the leopard print coat as opposed to a trench though, because let's be honest, it's freezing!

What are you looking forward to wearing this spring?
