A month in to my capsule wardrobe, and I'm trying to refresh my outfit choices to ensure that I'm not just wearing the same looks on repeat. I am finding that putting mood boards together really helps with this, and makes me think more strategically about what I want to wear with what.
These jeans from M&S were a bit of an impulse buy but they have been a really nice update on a basic staple. The girlfriend fit means they are high waisted and they have a slim leg which look really nice rolled up with loafers, and as it gets colder I can add socks too!
Jeans and a jumper seems like such a plain pairing but I like the simplicity, and it means you can add a statement piece like this Marni x H&M jacket which I've been wearing loads. I love to mix textures in my looks so the denim, cashmere and suede offset the shiny patent perfectly.
A casual look for everyday, but one I really love wearing and one that's become a go-to for off duty days.
