Products c/o Anatomicals and No More White Bits
With summer comes the update to the beauty regime that goes hand in hand with shorter skirts or dresses and sleeveless tops, not to mention lighter makeup and relaxed hairstyles. Summer is lovely and fresh-faced beauty suits the season so well; but there's usually groundwork to be done before our summer selves are at their best!
I was sent a few products from Anatomicals, which is a range I've used in the past; the 'puffy the eyebag slayer' is a wonder for soothing undereye circles and I love the products cute names. The 'sud the lot of you' body cleanser is a zesty, fruity scented shower gel which costs just £3 for a 250ml sized tube (buy here) and the scent is so summery and fresh, it's perfect for prepping the skin pre-fake tan, which is another product that I received c/o No More White Bits. This super easy to use fake tan mousse costs just £4 (buy here) and comes in two shades, medium and dark. Now, I'm not a huge fan of fake tan, but I have been reaching for it to extend the tan that I got on holiday, and mousse products are always much easier to apply than the gels or lotions, I find, and the streaks are also minimised!
Pre or post holiday, it's always nice to treat the skin, and these face mask sachets from Anatomicalsdo just that. 'grease isn't the word' is great for mattifying and 'Hawaii five-glow' is just the thing for a hydrating treat. I like to use masks like this for a bit of a pamper and to treat my skin so it looks as flawless as possible, especially if I plan to use less or a more sheer coverage foundation, and who wants to be caked in makeup when the suns out?!
