New favourite hat

A printed trouser is something that's been a long standing cornerstone of my wardrobe. I have dabbled with many different prints; I forayed into Ikat a couple of summers ago and have even tried leopard in the past, but this spotty pair must be the print du jour because I have another two pairs strikingly similar to these ones!

For this second look as part of the McArthur Glen styling challenge I went for a bit of a masculine/feminine mix up. I'm definitely not a very girlie girl, I don't tend to wear pink or anything too pretty, not at least without tempering it with a less feminine element, for example a leather jacket or blazer over a dress, a leopard print boot, a masculine watch, ripped up denim. In that mindset I took quite feminine elements, the printed trouser and scoop neck tee, and added the more mannish watch and brogues to bring that styling in.

I picked these trousers up from Urban Outfitters in the sales but you can find similar here (I actually also have this pair!) I went for a bit of an androgynous look this time, feminised with my long hair. The blazer is very masculine but I have a lot of time for slightly oversized, vintage blazers; just roll up the sleeves and you're good to go! My new favourite hat is from Monki, at just £2 in the sale it's taken the place of my trusty tan beret (for the moment!)

The sunnies are a Toppers pair and you can find similar here. I like how huge they are, and they definitely add a focal point to this look!
