#BristolFashionWeek: What I wore

Wearing: all vintage apart from Whistles jumpsuit

I wanted to write about my #BFW outfit in a separate post because I always feel I talk too much about what I'm wearing and then it detracts from the main post about the show that I write up, so here's my outfit from Fashion week!

After I attended the Preview event last week (here) I'd learnt that the dress code was to be a little smarter this time. Usually when the shows are during the day I stick to my usual uniform of peg trousers/ballet pumps or skirt/ballet pumps (see here and here!) but for the evening I cracked out the heels!

I am in vintage everything apart from my jumpsuit which is Whistles (shop here.) I love this jumpsuit; you can't see the detail very well but it has a a v-neck and long sleeves which makes it perfect for this time of year, but I'll wear it in the summer too with these Hudson sandals and a denim jacket. My bag is the one I blogged about here (from a Devon chazza) and my shoes are vintage Chanel (similar here). The jacket is a little vintage blazer I also charity shopped and the belt is a vintage one I've had for years, probably also from a charity shop!

The whole look ended up being a little bit dark but I think that's ok for evening! It was so lovely to see so many of my blogging pals who had made such an effort and all looked gorgeous. I was featured, along with the other girls, on the Bristol 24/7 website with a roundup of favourite trends for the SS15 season, which you can read here!

I love the simplicity a jumpsuit allows, it's literally an instant outfit and if you choose a neutral colour it's easy to dress up or down. I think because I have such an obsession with trousers, they are always my choice over a dress! There are some amazing printed ones around this season too although I'm not sure I'm brave enough for that!
