Wearing: Oxford shirt c/o New Look Menswear Gap jeans Whistles boots River Island blazer Vintage backpack
Following on from this post here, I've styled my New Look oxford shirt in a more preppy, slightly smarter way for the second post of this challenge. I had actually hoped to wear it under a dress for one of the looks, but I couldn't get the sleeves to look right, so I ended up styling it to make it look a little dressier but still fairly relaxed.
By teaming it with skinny black jeans and a slouchy blazer (picked up from River Island during Bristol Fashion Week!) it has a more autumnal feel and I highlighted this further with these chelsea ankle boots from Whistles. I love wearing hats and I've rinsed my straw hat all summer long so the beret felt like a good transitional choice.
These boots were such a bargain, I have been hunting for them for ages and stumbled across them in my size on the Oxfam website. They cost £19.99 and I did have to get them reheeled but I know I will wear them constantly over the winter; they are so comfy!
