Wearing: F&F Jumper, c/o Damart blouse, Gap jeans, ASOS boots, vintage jewellery
I always get dressed up at Christmas. Well, Christmas day I mean; I have outfits in mind for Christmas eve as well as Christmas day this year as I'm going to be spending Christmas eve with my mum, dad and two of my brothers for Christmas part 1 before spending Christmas part 2 (Christmas day and Boxing day) with Adrian. I'm hoping this will mean I get two Christmas dinners (winning!) and even better, I'll only have to cook one!
I usually work all over Christmas so it's a treat to have a few days off, and when I am at home, chilling in front of the television or wrapping presents, I don't like to be dressed up to the nines. A cosy jumper is always in order and I love the knit of this one from F&F. I have decided that I'm trying to incorporate more print into my wardrobe, too, and this Damart blouse is a fun and easy way of doing this. I love the look of cute collars under little jumpers, my style is all about layering (probably because I'm always cold!) and this is a nice way to mix colours and textures in a look.
I've done all my Christmas shopping now (yay!) so I will be spending the next couple of days wrapping it all up. The only thing I've treated myself to this month are these cute velvet ankle boots from ASOS. You might remember I posted about them here in a comparison post to the Penelope Chilvers ones. I haven't featured them up until now as I had to return the original pair I bought and swap them for a smaller size, which luckily they had in stock. I do love ASOS but I find the sizing is always really wierd, I've always found their own brand sizes come up bigger but never had too much of an issue with footwear until this pair! Now that the size is sorted I'm looking forward to wearing them a lot, they are ever so comfortable and a lovely dark navy colour which will basically go with everything I've got!
Are you all set for Christmas?
