Products I have used up #1

Products I have used up: Naked Style heat defender, DHC deep cleansing oil, Tresemme hairspray, Aveeno eye cream, Dr Jart BB cream, Kate Moss vintage muse perfume

Off the back of my 'Products I Regret Buying' post, I thought it would be prudent to do a flipside post around products that I have loved so much, I've used up. I do love finding products that I adore so much I keep using until the end, and I think in the same way that I shared the products that I didn't like, I'll share the ones that I do!

-Kate Moss vintage muse perfume: I've never been much of a fan of 'celebrity' scents but I really adore Kate Moss (doesn't everyone!?) so when her perfume was released I did check it out. I wasn't super keen on the first release but funnily enough, subsequent ones have really impressed me. I have gone through 2 bottles of 'Vintage Muse' and was given another that I am working my way through, likewise I also adore 'Lilabelle' which will probably feature in the next 'empties' post I do as it's almost at its end! 'Vintage Muse' is a very dusky, heady scent which I think is probably more of a nighttime fragrance than an everyday one, but I do wear it daily and don't find it to be too heavy. It contains notes of plum, rhubarb, blackcurrant cream, peony, violet, tiger orchid, white musk, ambergris and chocolate, and falls into the bracket of 'Floral Musk.' I really love this fragrance and will probably buy it again, as it's a couple of years old now it's usually on offer or available quite cheaply from cosmetic websites.

-Dr Jart BB cream: You might remember from this Face of the Day post that I raved about this BB cream, how I apply it, and the coverage it gives. After a bit of an unsteady start I kind of worked out (with some help!) how best to use this product for me and I am getting better and better results with it. I am currently wearing another Dr Jart BB cream (non water fuse unlike this one) and really loving it. It isn't cheap but it is a great buy. I was lucky enough to get this in a Glossybox!

-Aveeno Positively Luminous eye cream: This is my holy grail eye cream, I have been absolutely loving this and this is the second or third pot I've gone through. The one negative about it is that you can't see how much is left in the pack; I literally pressed the pump one evening as I was doing my face routine and no more came out, so there's no advance warnings that it's getting low! It does make my undereyes look great though, it counteracts dark circles and is light and non greasy, as well as combating wrinkles. I bought this from TK Maxx but it is also available in Boots; I've done that thing this month where I bought a different eye cream and am already regretting it and thinking about going and getting another pot of this-it isn't that expensive and works really well for me. I love it!

-Tresemme salon finish hairspray: To avoid looking like Worzel Gummidge by the time I've walked to work I've started spraying my fringe to keep it in place on my commute. This hairspray is fantastic, it doesn't give the '80's rock steady' look but keeps flyaways in place and is easily brushed out. It isn't sticky either and smells amazing! All in all, a good buy!

-DHC cleansing oil: This was another Glossybox treat which lasted really well and has also opened my eyes to the different methods of cleansing and makeup removal. Dirt and makeup is literally dissolved from the skin using this oil, which I warm in my hands before applying and then massage into the skin. It worked really well and left my skin really soft, and I will definitely repurchase this or something like it!

-Naked Style heat defender: A product I've had kicking about in my bathroom for so long! I do love it though, and have been actively using it more recently as my hair is really long now, and I was noticing the condition wasn't as great as it could have been. I do straighten my hair as well as blow drying, and a good spray of this all over damp hair keeps it protected from the temperature extremes whilst also making it smell amazing, which is always a bonus!

I hope you enjoyed some of the products that I've loved so much, I've used up! Do you use any of these products? I'd love to know!
