I mentioned the other day that I was really into clean, simple looks and one of the trends that I am starting to embrace (if a little late in the day) is monochrome. I seem to be really taken by the simplicity of a black and white look, and the ease with which you can dress up the simplest colour palette with accessories and, the mainstay of all my outfits, texture.
I sourced all of these pieces from online. Now, I was familiar with the concept of Littlewoods as a catalogue shopping destination but I had no idea that they had such a large range of products to buy online. Not only do they have their own specific ranges but they also stock lots of big brand items by lables such as Vila, Moda in Pelle, Coleen Rooney Clothing and French Connection. The choice is fantastic and you can easily build entire looks to pep up your wardrobe or just buy a single item for a treat or a special occasion.
If I was to create a Monochrome-trend wishlist, it would definitely include all the above items, particularly the gorgeous Ted Baker jewellery; I love the simple shapes and the mixed metals which give the pieces a really striking look. Of course, a showstopping shoe is always something I'd include, and these embellished courts definitely give a hit of high octane luxe to the outfit!

Have you ever shopped at Littlewoods before? What do you think of my take on the Monochrome trend?

I love that top :) I haven't embraced the monochrome trend, but I've never really been one for trends! If I happen to see a look I like whilst browsing blogs I love, or a piece of clothing that fits the trend, then I probably do it without even knowing it's on trend haha clueless being that I am! I was exactly the same when I first browsed Very for the first time a few months ago, totally blown away by the massive range of stuff they have! xx
