Glossybox: The March Edition

I decided to get my mum a 3 month subscription to Glossybox as part of her mother's day present this year, and it just so happened that her box arrived on a day I was visiting so I had kind of a heads-up as to what to expect in this one. She basically got everything you see above except for the perfume sample, she got a face mask which I think she was looking forward to trying out!

This month, the theme of the box was travel; I suppose with the advent of spring and the change of the seasons most people start prepping for their holidays abroad. The box contained a really cute little travel book, with tips on places to go and products to buy in different areas of the world. I wish I'd had this before I went to France a couple of years ago as I probably would have picked up a few things there that you can't find in the UK. But no matter! It's always good to know!

The products that I got this time included a Tresemme hairspray, which is actually really good, despite me not really equating Tresemme with being a luxury brand, it's a decent sized sample and is always useful for keeping my fringe in place! There was also a Juicy Couture perfume sample, which I never mind getting as I always use these and this is the perfect size to keep in my travelling makeup bag!

The item I was most keen to get was the Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream, which I know has had a mixed review due to the smell! It's unscented, but the natural smell of the product is a bit acquired! I quite like it personally and I'm so on board with why this is such a cult product. My friend Kerry never used to be without a tube of this and I was always pinching a bit from her here and there, for dry lips or chapped hands, so I am pleased to have my own tube (even though tiny!) at last!

The other two products were a Jelly Pong Pong lip blush crayon, which is just lovely-similar to the Clinique Chubby Stick, this delivers a buildable wash of colour in a rather fetching poppy pink. I love this despite being unsure of the shade at first, but it's definitely grown on me!

Another winning product in my box was this Nails Inc mini polish in Bruton Street which is a lovely dusty pink. I've already used this quite a lot, it's a classic colour that is very wearable and adds an element of chic to any look. The only downside is the size; it's a tiny 4ml but it's such a pretty shade that I'll let that go by!

Overall I was really pleased with this Glossybox, I'm looking forward to seeing the April box now, especially now my mum's getting one too so I can compare notes with her!

Did you get a Glossybox this month?
