Peachy Keen / Tangerine Dream

Wearing: Boden stripe tee, Zara peach trousers, Zara printed loafers, Marc Jacobs watch, Vintage ring and necklace, Made bangle, Luxla friendship bracelet, Gap hat.

When I wore this outfit to visit my mum the other week she commented my trousers were very "tangerine dream" which I think she said was a blancmange shade! She said how much she liked them and I have to admit they have become a real favourite of mine, despite my penchant for wearing either black, beige or navy trousers these have slotted nicely into my day to day wardrobe. They are a real pale peachy shade and I love the fit, though I have to cuff them a little at the ankle to make them a little more flattering fit wise on the leg. They are the classic peg shape-everyone who reads my blog will know that that is an adored fit of mine, and whilst I seem to flit between a peg and a skinny leg, the peg always has a special place in my wardrobe!

These cost £12.99 in the Zara sale and I actually bought them before I went back to Devon for a week in the sun. I got loads of wear from them then, with a vest top and sandals, but to take them into Autumn (sob!) I've paired them with this striped breton tee from Boden. It's not somewhere I'd usually shop but I bought my mum a purse from there for Christmas and for some reason got some vouchers off another purchase. So with the vouchers, and a discount event the company was running, this top cost me about £6 instead of the £25 it retails for. It really is lovely and thick, plus I do love a stripe and the fit of this is perfect; fitted but not clingy, and really flattering.

So, stuck halfway between Summer and Autumn, with a large dollop of rain thrown into the mix, a lightweight trouser and long sleeved top certainly seems the perfect style to get me through the day. For me, anyway!

Hope you like!

XO Amie
