Wearing: Vintage knit, H&M maxi dress (DIY to a midi by me) Acne Bertie square toe boots via eBay

Woo hoo, an outfit post! As you can see, despite a soggy start there were no torrential downpours today which meant a) I could snap some pics and b) I could get 2 loads of washing done and dried...ideal! I wanted to showcase these boots that I found on good old eBay. They are from Bertie but I was really attracted to the shiny leather and also the square toe which I think makes them look very "Acne", followers of my instagram will have already seen me post a picture of them and I think I am going to wear them a lot come Autumn. See, already dressing for Autumn! Well, it might as well be; it's hardly hot even though a weak sun poked it's face out from behind the clouds today. It was more the breeze that helped to dry my washing! No fear of it roasting in the sun!
I am also wearing a really simple jersey maxi which I got from H&M and then chopped down to midi length, and this blue vintage oversized knit which was a chazzer find. I'm not sure about it; I do like it but everytime I wear it it feels too long and bulky. However it did the job with this dress for a grungy look. Whether it survives the current wardrobe cull that I am undertaking with vigour remains to be seen. I don't know if you do this too, but I am such a clothes hoarder-stripping the rubbish out of my wardrobe has proved easy because there are SO many things that I never wear anymore, so I feel like, what's the point in keeping it? As my style and sense of fashion and what I like changes, more and more of my wardrobe feels unsuitable and irrelevant. So out the door it goes, off to find a new home somewhere!
Fingers crossed for more good weather (i.e no more rain!)
XO Amie
