'Sucessful Women Wear Yull Shoes'

If you regularly read my blog you'll know I like to champion a good British brand. Yull shoes is one such brand; Creative Director Sarah Watkinson-Yull concieved and developed her idea of a need for classic womens shoes with a quirky twist and is now supplying many women with fabulous footwear, one of these women being the Countess Pinky le Grelle. Now, until Sarah gave me the heads up on her press release I hadn't heard of the Countess before; but she is a huge presence in shooting circles, having even been nominated for Sportswoman of the Year:

"Pinky is one of the leading sportswomen in trap and skeet. She has won 5 European Championships, a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games, and joins the ranks of top women athletes as one of the few to be voted Sportswoman of the Year."

Doesn't she look fantastic kitted out in her Yull Hoxtons, which you can buy here.
Pinky is not only a Sportswoman at the very top of her game, but she also has many other talents, including designing and making her own jewellery using semi-precious and precious stones, some of which are currently on display at Holland & Holland in Mayfair. She has also taken part in Trap and Skeet at Olympic level; the first Briton to do so! If Yull's are her footwear of choice, I think Sarah's got her market nailed! Every successful women loves a Yull shoe!

Have you had a look at the website lately? Click here for the full range, and these are the pairs I'm currently coveting:

The Bloomsbury (top) and Grosvenor (bottom) are the perfect everyday work shoe. Since I hurt my back in an accident I have been unable to wear super high heels without being in quite a bit of pain and so the Bloomsbury in black velvet would be my perfect choice for everyday; chic and not too high! For an evening, the gorgeous glossy Grosvenor's would also be high on my hit list. With the ladylike luxe looks coming forward for AW11/12 (I can't wait!) I am longing to reach into my wardrobe and pull out smarter, more luxury styles and both these pairs will complement these perfectly. Love them! Which are your favourite Yull shoes?
