Party On...Christmas Party Dressing Wrapped Up!

So, unless you have been living in a cave these past few weeks, you won't have failed to notice that Christmas is nearly upon us. Whilst for some this conjours up images of a High Street free-for-all in search of the perfect present, or the gluttonous after effects of the work Christmas party, there is one thing that everyone can love about the festive period-the excuse to get dressed up!

Above: Yumi hard case heart bag (lace) £25

Fashion website USC has all your Christmas Event dressing dilemmas covered-and the best part is you can order your new look from the comfort of the sofa with a nice cup of tea. Result!
Above: Abandon Betti Sandals now £30, was £40.

After looking through the site, I found several gorgeous pieces which are sure to add sparkle to any Christmas night out! Like the fabulous Marquise dress above by Abandon, which has been reduced from £38 to £12! Grab it quick and wear with black opaques, shoe boots and a leather jacket for a stunning gothic princess look.

This little number by Angel Eye is also a showstopper. The frilled neckline is very Carrie Bradshaw and the tight bodycon fit will make it the sexiest dress you own. And at just £40 it is a real seasonal investment!

Of course, we all need the perfect party shoes to offset our glam frocks. These stunning Doloris sandals by Abandon are reduced from £45 to £35 and will lift any outfit, from a simple black dress to a pair of pegged trousers and blouse.

For the girlie girls among us, this A Star sparkle roses dress is the epitome of ladylike styling. The fabulous hem detail and cap sleeves make it the prettiest dress on the scene. It costs just £15 reduced from £30-bargain!

....and if you want to toughen it up, why not pair it with these rock chic studded booties, again by Abandon, the style name is Lauren and they cost just £35, reduced from £50!

For those of you attending a classy Christmas Party, this amazing maxi dress from CE ME London (£50) ticks all the boxes. The fabulous nude shade will flatter all skin tones, and the shape is not only a key trend (very Grecian Goddess) but the cut will also hide a multitude of sins, (see the flattering ruching on the tummy area) meaning that you can hit the buffet hard without the guilt factor!

For something a little more flirty, reach for this beautiful sapphire blue frock from Fever. The Saffron dress will set you back £55 and will look stunning with a creamy faux fur jacket and some nude patent heels for a sophisticated and dressy look that still allows you to cut loose and shake it on the dance floor!

A clutch bag can be the ultimate outfit saviour and can really pull a look together-don't ruin your gorgeous party ensemble with a heavy, chunky tote! All you need is enough room for your credit card, keys, mobile and lippy-good to go! This pretty Mischa Barton Ruffle bag will go with everything and the gold highlights lift it out of 'day bag' territory. It costs £39.

Another party, another pair of heels...I love these little Mish Mesh boots by Blink, £40. They will definitely add a kick to your look!

This stunning number by Jarlo (£55) has just enough sparkle to make it festive, but the shape and colour (a lovely dark navy) keep it very classic. The perfect dress for any party occassion and my pick of the bunch! I love it, and at that price you can afford to treat yourself to a bag and shoes to compliment it!

Of course, no one should be heading off for a night out without a decent coat. Yes, they can be a pain to carry, but who wants to freeze when you can look this good?! The key to a good evening coat is a) a classic cut and b) a neutral colour, which will enable you to wear it over any number of pretty outfits. This stunning Miss Sixty Jorby (£195) comes with all the luxe details you would expect from a premier brand, and the high collar and belted detail set it apart from your average coverup.

However, if your budget won't quite stretch that way, how about this beautiful grey number from Miss Real? Coming in at just £70, the military inspired styling is right on trend and the waterfall hem will sit beautifully with all manner of party looks. Plus it will keep you warm~obviously a bonus!

My accessory 'pick of the post' today is this a-mazing knuckleduster hardcase clutch by Religion. Costing £50, it can either be worn across the body, so the handle looks like an elaborate decoration, or on your fingers like rings for the ultimate easy-carry clutch! The perfect accessory to toughen up a sweet dress or tailored jacket with a bit of a punky kick. I love it!

Now, finally, we all know there are some people out there who just don't 'do' dresses. I should know-I spend about 90% of the year in trousers! However, don't disregard Christmas dressing as all froufrou and frills; there are ways of dressing the part without looking too fairy-like! For example, I adore the gorgeous skirt above...(now £15, was £30, by True Decadence) and whilst it could be worn in a very pretty way, perhaps with a little feathery cape and courts, I would wear it in a more quirky way, maybe with chunky boots and a lace top for a twist on Christmas Party dressing.

However, if skirts and dresses really are right off the radar, how about something like this? Proof trousers can certainly do glam!
Jumpsuit, £85, Traffic People.

With that in mind, here are a couple of pretty blouse tops that could work with slick skinny jeans or drapy harems. I would style the above top-now £19, was £24, by Vero Moda-with heavy gold chains and chunky rings.

Last, but certainly not least, I also adore this classic and simple bow top by Vila, which costs just £25. It would look amazing with skinny cigarette pants, a killer heel and some chunky bangles.
All these items are available from the designer website USC-check them out for gorgeous party pieces that will efforlessly slot in with your existing wardrobe, or whole new outfits from shoes to dresses and everything in between!
What will you be wearing to party this Christmas? And what's your 'pick of the post?'

Aims, what are the sizes like at this place? Are the generous or about the same as Topshop or something? xxx

I would say they run true to size, because they stock lots of different brands they may vary brand to brand, I sometimes find Italian brands like Miss Sixty come up a little smaller. xoxo
