Spring Brights

Wearing: Weekday jumper (sold out, grey version here) ASOS jeans (here) ASOS belt (here) vintage bag (similar here) vintage loafers (similar here) vintage sunglasses (similar here)

Brights are so out of my comfort zone, but in order to put a stop to the repeat buying of the same item, I chose this jumper in  bright pink over the other colour option - a much more sensible grey. I have actually worn it much more than I thought I would; it looks so lovely with pale wash denim and I actually really like it with this indigo denim too. The sleeves are super long which for spring is quite nice - at least my wrists are cosy!

I've been on the hunt for a pair of jeans with no rips/holes/raw hems/whiskering OR stretch and I thought the ideal pair would elude me forever but this ASOS pair pretty much fulfil the brief. Unfortch they only came in the standard leg length so I think they are just a touch too long, which is a shame but I can always roll them up. Because they are high waisted I think they are quite flattering and I like the non stretch denim which is always really flattering.

Since these pictures were taken I've reintroduced the ombre to my hair, well, I did an at-home balayge which turned out better than I thought it would and the blonde works well with stronger colours - I've been reaching for this pink top, red lipstick and a bright red beret which really makes an impact.
