Grey isn't a colour I would normally pick for jeans, preferring to choose either plain black, indigo denim or stonewashed denim. However I saw this pair in the Topshop sale and I really liked this wash which is a nice alternative to the normal shades and also a really good cut - flattering straight leg and highish waist combo is so nice.

I've definitely been getting the wear from this Archive by Alexa coat which Adrian bought me for my birthday. Annoyingly a button dropped off it but luckily I managed to find it and fix it! The same can't be said for the pins on my backpack which have both fallen off, sadly, I'll have to get some more to replace them. They were inexpensive so it doesn't matter too much but it's still a bit disappointing.

It was so lovely to see the sunshine on the day these pictures were taken, it feels like it's been winter for so long. I am considering getting out my spring/summer clothes from storage over the next week or so and having a bit of a wardrobe refresh; obviously there's no call for strap tops and shorts yet but I am hoping there are a few bits and pieces in there which I can mix in with my autumn/winter clothes because I am quite frankly, quite bored of them! I probably packed them away in mid October so it has been a good few months and my wardrobe could definitely do with a shake up; I have gone through and sorted out some items I haven't got much wear from to add to depop or give to the charity shop and I'm looking forward to shopping what I have in storage to put some looks together for spring.
