In keeping with the amazing September weather, I thought I'd post this look which was actually shot a couple of weeks ago when the weather was equally as glorious. As part of my summer capsule wardrobe, I'd wanted to ensure that I had items I would get a lot of wear from, and so I didn't really buy all that much - the weather in the UK is never really bikini-ready, that's for sure!
One thing I did pick up (and wanted to wear at least once before autumn!) was this Archive by Alexa playsuit. Cut to look like a slip dress, the fit is flattering and the playsuit itself really comfortable, perfect for hot sticky days. If I had gone abroad this year it would definitely have been straight into my case, but I'm glad I did get to wear it at least once on my 'staycation.'
Speaking of Ms Chung, she is set to repeat her sell out collection with M&S again in November when she releases the second phase of her 'Archive' range. I am certainly keen to see the items, but given that I ended up buying most of the collection greatly reduced in the sale, I think it's likely that I'll hold off buying anything in the first instance. It will be good to see the products in the flesh as well; I was a little disappointed with the fabric choices of some of the dresses in particular so it will be interesting to see the items she chooses and the fabrics she re-interprets them with this time around.
