Products I've used up #25

August empties: Dr Hauschka soothing cleansing milk (here) Arbonne Aromassentials rejuvinating body mist (similar here) Bioderma micellar water (here) Casmara hydra lotion (similar here) GOSH primer (here) St Tropez tan enhancing polish (here)

I got through quite a lot of products in August and some of them were hair care, which I will chat about in another post, but for today's I wanted to talk about some of my favourite skincare items that I've got through this month. Beginning with the face, I finally finished up my bottle of Bioderma cleansing micellar water. This size bottle lasted absolutely ages and I haven't found anything as good for removing makeup. I followed this as part of my skincare regime with a cleanser, and I've really enjoyed using the Dr Hauschka cleansing milk, which leaves my skin feeling super soft and also removed any last traces of grime.

I used a peel off face mask for the first time a few weeks ago and with the mask was a small tube of moisturising lotion. It was so rich that I found I had plenty left after I had used the mask, and it actually lasted a few more applications. I quite liked it, I think it only comes as part of the mask kit (which was also very good!) so I would definitely recommend it.

The scent of lavender is one of my favourites and as such, this Arbonne Aromassentials rejuvinating body mist was a firm favourite. I actually used it more often as a room spray, it was really nice to use on bed linen and even my yoga mat for a rejuvinating and relaxing scent.

This summer I have been trying to embrace a (fake) tan and I've found that the key to avoid orange patches is definitely exfoliating. This tan enhancing polish from St Tropez is a really good one, it definitely helped to remove dead skin/tan buildup to ensure that fake tan application was smooth and not patchy.

Finally, the only cosmetic product that I've got through this month is this primer from GOSH. It's a light, non-greasy formula that doesn't have that plastic-y feeling that some primers can have, and whilst I didn't notice it made a huge difference to the application of my foundation, it definitely helped with the staying power! I am currently using a No.7 primer and I actually think I prefer it to this; this one was good but I don't think that I'd repurchase it.
