Sorting out the products I've got through in the last few weeks, there seems to be a lot of skincare in the mix. In fact, only two of the products this time were makeup! I actually prefer to try different skincare products; I'm quite comfortable with my makeup routine so I tend to stick with the same things and re-purchase things that work for me, but unless I find a holy grail product, I'm happy to try out new skincare items.
As I get older I definitely consider my skincare more carefully, and I have been trying out several different brands to see which suit me the best. I spoke about Arbonne here, and I have really enjoyed using this FC5 range. I have only just finished up this cleanser from the range, which shows that great value it is, as a little really does go a long way. Once I got through this, I had a small size of the Nuxe oil cleanser to try and I really enjoyed using this, after removing my makeup I use cleanser to get any residue off my face before applying moisturiser. I also used up an eye cream, too; I had low expectations of this Soap & Glory one as I've not been overwhelmed with their skincare before, but actually I really liked this.
I've got through a couple of body lotions this month, I think because I have been self-tanning a little more and it requires a moisturised base to avoid streaks! I tried this Mitchell and Peach lotion which I didn't get on with; I didn't really like the smell and it was quite a liquid formula which made it difficult to apply. I did, however, love this Nivea one; it's so inexpensive but really does work and is definitely something I'll re-buy. I also finished up a hand cream; this Bioderma was a gift from my brother and his girlfriend who live in France, so I'm not sure if I can buy it here; a shame as it was amazing!
Makeup wise, I blogged about this GOSH mascara here and I've only just really come to a point where it's gone a little dried up, I absolutely loved it and the only reason I've not rebought it is because I have two other mascaras to use before I buy any more. Another product I will also repurchase is this Bourjois concealer, it's the Healthy Mix one and I bought this along with the Healthy Mix foundation, which I also want to re-buy (just as soon as I've used up these BB/CC creams!)
