Thready kit £6 c/o White Stuff

This spring, White Stuff is inviting customers to take part in a special crafty project to aid charities supported by the White Stuff Foundation. With a goal of raising £16,000, the company are inviting craft enthusiasts of all abilities to design and submit a patch for charity.

For every patch entered in store or online, White Stuff will donate £5 to the Foundation, and for every sewing kit sold, White Stuff will donate all the profits from each sale to help the Foundation towards it's goal.

All of the winning patches will then be sent off to White Stuff HQ, where, on 24 March, an overall winner will be chosen; winning a 6 night luxury crafting retreat break at Pratello Country Resort in Tuscany, as well as £250 of White Stuff vouchers!

Every patch entered in the competition will be used, being made into cushion or quilt which will be donated to each of the 104 charities the White Stuff stores support.

This is such a lovely idea for a competition and really gives back to the community, too. Plus it's also a chance to show off your creative talents! I used to post DIY's on the blog fairly often but haven't done any for a while, however I'll definitely be showing the patch I make to support this great cause.

You can pick up a sewing kit in White Stuff stores and online, and you can read more about the White Stuff Foundation on the White Stuff website.
