Autumn look #009: The judo jumpsuit

Wearing: Topshop Boutique judo jumpsuit (here) Marni at H&M leather jacket (similar here) Primark fedora (similar here) River Island loafers (here)

One of the pieces that I bought for my autumn capsule was a jumpsuit. I love jumpsuits; I tend to wear them more than dresses as I am definitely more of a trouser than a dress person! When I saw this one on the Topshop website I thought it would be perfect for autumn; the wool blend makes it more wintery and even though it has a cropped leg, I think I will still be able to wear it with boots when it gets really cold. The only downside is that is has a lovely kimono sleeve, which isn't very long, so you run the risk of a cold arm! The only way to deal with that is by throwing on a jacket or cardi, so I think I'll still be able to make it work in the colder climes!

Whilst the weather has been a little milder, I've been wearing it with these River Island loafers which have worked hard for me in this autumn capsule. I am unsure whether to carry them over into the winter capsule as I'm thinking a brogue will probably be more useful, but I have got a lot of wear from them and they still look in pretty good condition!

I think this jumpsuit would also work well for a night out; with a statement necklace and a heel it could look really chic. It wasn't super cheap, but the quality and design definitely justify the price tag!
