Products I've used up #17: The Botanics edition

Empties: Boots Botanics range

I've been a long time fan of the Boots Botanics range on the blog, both for it's incredible properties and excellent skincare results, and also because of its price. I don't mind paying a little more for good skincare, but the Botanics range ensures you don't really need to; providing quality at an excellent price.

I've used several products from the range but in particular I like the Radiant Youth and Triple Age Renewal ranges, as they focus on addressing the skincare concerns that are relevant to me; anti aging and maintaining a youthful complexion. I have used the Radiant Youth day cream for a couple of years now, and it's something I'll always go back to; the lightweight cream makes for a perfect base for foundation and the product has an SPF 15 which is an essential for any day cream.

For the night, I like the firming night cream from the Triple Age Renewal range which helps to soothe and smooth the skin. I always found my face to be moisturised and supple after using this, and I haven't re-bought it yet; I picked up a different brand that was on offer but I don't think it's as good as this, on my skin anyway, and I'll be going back to Botanics once I've finished it!

Finally my holy grail product from the range is this Hydrating Eye Serum from the Triple Age Renewal package; I ran out of this about a fortnight ago and have been using other eye creams but I have started to notice the crows feet around my eyes, which I never did when using this cream. Although it states it is a serum it is more like a gel cream; it smooths out the undereye area and helps to hydrate it which in turn can help limit the look of aging. It's the most expensive product from the collection at about £7 but in terms of price comparisons to other eye creams, it is really very reasonable and it works, which is always key!
