Review: Arbonne Aromassentials unwind body mist

Arbonne Aromasssentials Unwind rejuvinating body mist

A friend of mine, Michelle, works as a consultant for Arbonne, which is a brand I'd heard of briefly but wasn't too clued up on until I attended a Facebook group party that she hosted. What a great idea, for one; being able to chat away about cosmetics and skincare from the comfort of the sofa, and secondly, a great opportunity to get expert tips and advice about the products and brand.

For the uninitiated, Arbonne is a company that produces naturally inspired, scientifically proven skincare and beauty that is kind to the skin and also the environment. Their tagline of 'pure, safe, beneficial' perfectly sums up this commitment which has seen their brand establish a core market share over the past 35 years.

Taking part in the Facebook party was really interesting as I found out more about the ranges and learnt some great tips; such as applying primer with a foundation brush to ready your brush and skin for the foundation! There was also a competition, and I won this product from the Aromassentials range.

The product is a rejuvinating body mist that is perfect for calming and relaxing the body and mind. I have been using it as a light body spray in the evening, and its chamomile and ylang ylang contents have really helped me to unwind after a busy day. I like to spray it before I take part in a yoga session to assist relaxation and Michelle also recommended that I can spray it onto my pillow to aid sleep.

The spray is a lightweight mist that is quickly absorbed, and the scent is sweet but not sickly. It's a gentle scent with no overbearing tones, and the delicate nature of the ingredients means that it isn't the sort of thing that would give you a headache! I sprayed a little around my room in place of burning a scented candle and the fragrance was light and pretty, a soothing and calming perfume.

This spray retails at £15 and for the size it's a good purchase, 118ml of product would, I imagine, last for quite a long time as the Arbonne collections are free from nasties and rely on the nature of plant based botanicals and, in the Aromatherapy ranges, natural essential oils. Because of this, a little goes a long way so you get great value for money from Arbonne!

If you are interested in the brand and would like to find out more, you can have a look at the website here.  If you want to find out more from an expert, you can have a look at Michelle's Facebook page here.
