Summertime fashion favourites

Summer faves: snakeskin Vans c/o Spartoo //  vintage bag // simple jewels // ASOS leopard print coat

I haven't done a 'fashion favourites' post in a while and so I thought I'd round up a few of the things that I've been really loving over the last few weeks of summer. I know I have included a coat, and that seems a little odd, but with the British weather being what it is, I think some sort of coat or jacket was always going to have to feature!

I posted about trainers recently here and since then I've ended up picking up a couple of pairs. I chose these snakeskin Vans because they are basically just wicked and I absolutely love them; I am hoping to either shoot a trainer lookbook or just a trainer haul post which will be coming up soon. The snakeskin print gives a really cool and edgy look to the classic Vans styling and I know they will look great with everything.

This navy vintage bag was one that I had put aside to go into my Etsy shop but I ended up loving it so much I started using it as a daily handbag, and it's been incredibly useful. It's a great size and the zip top and side pocket means there's less of a chance of anyone pickpocketing it at festivals and it's a very contemporary feeling bag, with the leather tassel feature. I like that it's navy, too, as a point of difference from the usual black.

Summertime jewels are all about modern minimalism for me so I have been rockin' these vintage tigers eye studs, with some plain silver rings for a classic and timeless look. The triple stacked ring is a Russian wedding ring and all three rings fit flush together on the hand and look fantastic. The more rustic rings are by Daniella Draper.

Finally, the aforementioned coat! I dragged this duster out of the wardrobe a few weeks ago and it has replaced my ASOS trench as the coat of the moment; the trench needs a dry clean anyway so this one has been super useful and I really like the bracelet length sleeves, and of course leopard print is one of my favourite colours. It's lightweight and perfect for chillier mornings and evenings. And, of course, the rain! This one is now sold out but there is a similar style here.

What have been your fave fashion picks of the summer?
