Mid-season Style Essential

Monki Jumper (similar here)

It seems strange to be posting about a jumper in the current, more tropical climes, but I've been wanting to blog about this jumper that I picked up from one of my favourite stores, Monki, for a couple of weeks. I've got a small haul to post around some of the items that I bought and although I think this actual jumper is now sold out, there is a similar one available on ASOS which is a good place to shop for Monki I find, as the p&p there is free compared to £6 (£6!) on the Monki website.

It's also strange that I picked something that isn't a neutral, but I felt for chilly spring days this would be just lovely with perhaps a denim skirt, or even some of my favourite peg trousers, I have a couple of pairs in grey and I thought this might help to pep them up. I love the cut of this; ever so slightly boxy, quite traditional with the cable placement and also quite playful; perhaps it's the poppy, cheery shade or the attention to detail that attracted me to this knit.

Monki has some great pieces and although they are expensive on the postage front, you can find some lovely pieces of print, and their denim and dress sections are incredible too. There's a lot of choice and most items come in under £40 so I would definitely suggest checking them out; as a brand they have a touch of the Scandi street style about them but whilst the cuts of the products might be quite minimal, their print usage is more maximalist and they have some wonderful, fun and eye catching pieces.
