ba&sh tote bag c/o Coggles
I love a good handbag, despite being inherently more of a shoe girl, handbags are up there, and tote bags certainly have their place too. I was kindly sent this ba&sh one to review and it's a cracker; I love the oversized shape and the slightly more handbag length straps.
I've got a lot of cotton totes. I suppose because they are fairly lightweight, they are inexpensive and useful to have. I usually always have one in my handbag, and use one almost daily to carry my lunch/spare shoes/work clothes rather than stuffing them in my already heavy and overfilled handbag. I have currently been using a freebie that I picked up at Primavera Sound festival in May; it's on its last legs now as it was very useful to have at the festival to shove my coat in if it got too hot, and it has also done a lot of work back in the UK as my go-to daily tote. So when I was offered a new one to use I jumped at the chance!
ba&sh is a French brand set up by two friends who wanted to create their ideal wardrobe. Their range is simple, pretty, easy and quintessentially French by design, accessories are no different and the way that the tote above is designed stands as a testament to that. It's a simple, useful, everyday item; but it also has an element of luxury around it and a chic feel that sets is apart. I know this will become a staple element in my bag collection, and it sits perfectly with my own pared back style.
