Autumn Colours

Wearing: Whistles jumper and trousers ASOS mac Zara shoes Vintage backpack (just seen)

For someone who doesn't like to wear much colour, there's a lot of it going on here. I wore this look to a blogger event last week and originally had planned to wear the trousers with leopard flats but the mac just worked better; I didn't want to overdo the animal print so I ditched the shoes for these Zara ones. Note to self: too cold for bare feet now. I probably should have worn my fave little heeled granny loafers; they would have been more practical and possibly worked better but I didn't think of that until I was on the train on my way there; oh well.

This khaki jumper is a real favourite, the colour, whilst out of my comfort zone, is lovely and it is a cashmere jumper so it is incredibly soft and warm. I bought the white trousers recently, they are probably more eveningwear but I wanted to show that it's possible to wear white in the winter; it doesn't have to be teamed with breton stripes or bright colour to work well; mixing it with neutrals or darker shades or prints can make it look luxe and, ultimately, quite wearable.

This is the most colour I've worn in a while; and I quite liked it. A mix of texture, shade and print that is not the norm for me but it's nice to make your wardrobe work harder for you ever now and then.
