Autograph Leopard print courts, £99, M&S // Limited Collection Red courts, £29.50, M&S
Whether presented in red or a punchy animal print, whether the heel is a chunky demi-wedge or a pin thin stiletto, the shoe of the season, for me, is a classic court. I love everything about a court shoe; from their timeless elegance to the way they can make a pair of skinny jeans look smart, not to mention the leg-lengthening properties that the low cut front can offer.
Unfortunately, they're not always the most comfortable of shoes. So when I heard that M&S had released a range of courts (among other styles!) which feature their patented 'Insolia' technology, I knew I had to share them!
'Insolia' shoes work by shifting more of your body weight on to your heels, taking the pressure off the balls of the feet which usually bare the brunt of the weight which in turn leads to that painful burning sensation. Coupled with another new innovation from M&S, the 'High Heel Hoisery' (tights which feature cushioned pads at the feet to add comfort) you're sure to be the last leaving the dance floor!
What's your favourite party shoe? PS pass me those leopard courts...!
