Wearing: Harry Brown jacket, F&F merino wool cardigan, F&F slim fit shirt, F&F reversible scarf all c/o Clothing at Tesco
Now, Adrian isn't normally the type to get behind the other side of the camera, but when the opportunity came up for him to get his hands on some new threads courtesy of Tesco, he jumped at the chance! Adrian is a very stylish person and one of the things that I first noticed about him when we first met was how well he dressed. He has a particular style which has evolved over the time we've been together but he always looks on trend.
Adrian's work doesn't require he wear a suit so when he was asked to style a suit jacket, it was a way to push him out of his comfort zone. He rarely wears jackets like this, but when he does, he won't wear them in a stuffy way; he's paired this Harry Brown jacket with skinny jeans for an off duty look and accessorised the outfit with a really gorgeous double sided check scarf (which I've already decided to steal!)
I think the fitted nature of this jacket really suits his frame and I love the added colour and texture through the accessories which really grounds the look and makes it much less formal, and perfect for a laid back day or evening out.
The merino wool cardigan was probably Adrian's favourite item; the quality of the wool is just lovely and he likes to wear cardigans over his plethora of collected band t shirts, and a smarter cardigan makes this look casual but still cool for everyday! It's also surprisingly warm even though it's a thin cardigan, he's found it keeps him much more toasty than his usual hoodies!
I think Age looks really smart here and it just goes to show that you can wear a more tailored jacket in the daytime without looking like you're off to a meeting/court hearing! If you did want to make this look more formal it would be easy to lose the cardigan, add a tie and a pair of leather shoes and it's a super sharp look, alternatively this could be made even more casual by wearing the jacket over a plain knitted jumper for the weekend!
