Fashion Bloodhound Winter Showcase

On a chilly Wednesday evening, I made my way over to the beautiful Francis Hotel in Bath for the second Fashion Bloodhound event I've attended-their winter showcase. You might remember this post from back in the summer when Fashion Bloodhound launched their first such event; it was a huge success and following on from this comes their winter meet. The differences this time were that you could buy a VIP ticket to allow early entry to the sale, VIP ticket holders also got a goodie bag filled with beauty and skincare treats. In addition, Fashion Bloodhound had granted further delights with a fully stocked sweetie table and a makeup station and blowdry bar, to ensure that we all looked our most glamorous amongst the designer labels!

The last event had proved so popular, that the FBH girls had bought a much larger selection of stock for us to peruse and there were two of the ever well recieved '£50 and under' rails as well as a huge selection of other wonderful items, including shoes, purses and jewellery. I fell in love with a pair of beautiful velvet Miu Miu sandals, and would have bought them had they been in my size! I had to settle for two gorgeous Raoul skirts; one of which I had seen at the previous event, tried on, but hadn't bought-and then promptly wished I had! So I was thrilled to see it still available, and snapped it up. I also nabbed a pretty Twenty8Twelve blouse for a paltry £5! It's probably a little lightweight to wear now, but I'm excited to wear it come Spring 14!

After some Prosecco-induced spending (!) it was time to get my hair did. I decided I fancied a beehive updo, as it's a style I've never been able to master, and the lovely Jess and Holly from No.3 Hairdressing did a fantastic job and made my hair look amazing! I also saw several ladies opting for a smoky eye courtesy of the MUA Christy Waterfall. The hair and makeup bars added another element to the really luxe feel of the evening, and it was great to see many women taking advantage of the treats.

You can have a look at the Fashion Bloodhound website to get an idea of the fantastic products that they sell; likewise if you have unwanted designer items you are looking to sell you can get in touch with the Fashion Bloodhound fashion executives via the website. I'd like to thank Fashion Bloodhound for inviting me to another wonderful showcase; I can't wait for the next one! (my wallet probably can however!)
