Day Tripper

Wearing: Zara jacket and skirt, Vintage vest top, Pastelle pumps

I spent my Saturday mooching around the delightful seaside town of Weston, visiting my mum and dad. I thought I would try and take a few snaps, the last time I visited Weston (and actually took photographs of it!) was way back in January and it was a little ghost town, totally different from what you would expect it to be like on a sunny Saturday in August. Of course I took advantage of the lovely weather and got my legs out! There was a light breeze so I threw on my newest acquisition, a Zara boucle jacket which I picked up for £19.99 in the sale, having stalked it for the last few weeks and watched it come down and down in price from around £89. The neon coral shot of color it injects into my outfit was cheery and I think it will prove to be a useful piece looking ahead to Autumn.
I didn't blog last night as I, like most of the rest of the UK, was watching the Olympics Closing Ceremony. I am sad it's over but loved seeing an impromptu Spice Girls reformation!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend!
