Simple Things

Wearing: Tee and Skinny Jeans from The Gap, Ballet Shoes by La Tenace

I'm sure you can tell by the soggy floor in my pictures that yes, June is still failing to produce any decent weather. This isn't strictly true actually because there was, amazingly, enough sun on Saturday to a) dry a load of washing and b) mow the lawn. This unbelieveable spell of sun however failed to last beyond around half past 4, when the heavens opened, and they continued to do so until this morning. I am hoping tomorrow will be similar to today, which apart from a couple of squally showers, was actually rather nice. Right, weather report over! I am so bored with my wardrobe at the moment, which I am sure is something you hear me say a lot, but I am really craving simplicity in my looks right now which I am sure you can tell by this simple outfit. I like basic shapes in luxe fabrics, muted colours and small but interesting details. In this look the deets are provided by the toecaps on my La Tenace ballerinas, which I bought from eBay a few weeks ago and have become my favourite pair ever. I am looking for replacements already!
I normally wear these jeans rolled and I ended up having to roll them up by the time I'd got to work, as they're very stretchy and they seem to get bigger with wear. As they slouch down I have to roll up the legs, but I like them worn completely straight too.
Oh yes one more thing, thanks for all the lovely comments about my hair! The colour I used was Cyber Purple Live Colour XXL; it costs £4 from Boots and currently they're on offer, 2 for £7.50 if you fancy giving it a go!

I love your shoes! And I will be heading over to Ebay to try and score myself some too :) are they true to size? Being a 6.5 I tend to go a size up in shoes that don't do half sizes! x
