PJ's and Slippers

Wearing: Quiksilver denim jacket, Men's thrifted Gant sweater, Zara printed trousers, Topshop slipper shoes

What a difference a day makes. Only yesterday I was parading around with my pins out, but not for long-now it's back to trousers and jumpers in an attempt to brave the rain. I bought these trousers in the Zara sale at the beginning of the year, they were just a tenner and I wanted to channel a tribal vibe with them, but actually they look so much nicer worn like a pajama pant. They're certainly the right shape and actually the print is more ikat than tribal so this fits well into that concept. I rolled the ankles to make them look more slouchy (and because they're too long!) and paired them with the slipper shoe-a shape of footwear I know you're not meant to wear with PJ style trousers (too literal?!) but I adore these Topshop ones and they are beyond comfortable so I will wear them until they fall to bits. To brave the chill I threw on this Gant sweater and denim jacket combo which is plain enough to work well with the busy print of the trousers.

Hope you're enjoying the bank holiday weekend! I have tomorrow off work (yay!) but am back in on Tuesday, hopefully the weather will be slightly more bearable by then!

What a brilliant outfit. When I read your blog title I thought you'd be at home in your real PJs and slippers, ha ha! Love those pants, the print's superb and a great injection of summery-ness even if it felt more like January than June outside! xxx
