Caramac Hi

After years of never wearing flat shoes, let alone trainers, I've been inspired by the Superga campaign featuring Alexa Chung and decided to try some out. I actually want some Superga's but I haven't decided on a colour/style combo yet so I picked these cheapies up in Primarni to try the trend. At £8 they won't bust the budget and I'm glad I didn't overspend because I'll be honest, they're not very comfortable. I don't know if it's the shoe itself or the fact that it's a high top; either way they really hurt my achillies tendons for some reason, I was pleased to take them off at the end of the day! I just wore them with rolled up vintage skinnies, an ancient Gap top and cardigan-comfy and casual which seems to be the order of the day for me at the moment. I haven't really bought much this payday; I bought the car print blouse in Primark but have decided to take it back as I've already seen lots of other people wearing it, pretty though it is. I only went in to get those "footie" sock things as well, and ended up spending £20!
I have a few days off work so I am looking forward to doing very little and catching up on my blogroll. I've found so many cool blogs over the last few days and I'm really looking forward to getting stuck into them :)

I love your outfit (as always), the top especially. I can't wear really flat pumps either, how I used to go clubbing in Converse in the 1980s is beyond me! xxx
