Bristol Fashion Week in association with The Mall at Cribbs Causeway

Yesterday I was lucky enough to attend one of the fashion shows taking place as part of Bristol Fashion Week. Fashion Week takes place at the Mall at Cribbs Causeway which is a shopping complex just outside of the city centre. We were treated to cakes and fizz when we arrived which was lovely (couldn't take any pics as my camera was buried in my bag!) and then we took our seats to watch the show. The fashions were  supplied by high street brands such as Jigsaw, M&S, John Lewis, Hobbs, River Island and Oasis but styled in such a way that made them look a lot higher end. I loved the enthusiasm of the models and the carefully choreographed routines that made the show so much more than just models on a catwalk.
The show was compered by celebrity stylist Mark Heyes and hairdresser Andrew Barton who kept up a cheeky tirade of chatter between show scenes. The scenes covered the main trends that we'll be seeing for Spring and Summer and these included florals, sports luxe, fifties and a little bit of the twenties too! We took part in live blogging throughout the show so I was tweeting away as well as snapping some pics, a small selection of which are above! I didn't get FROW sadly, more like Fifth-Row but it was still close enough to get some good shots! The last photo shows my favourite model, she was so tall and willowy and literally the thinnest thing I'd ever seen!
After the show we all got a goody bag which was lovely and it was also really brilliant to meet all the other bloggers; I've not been to many events like this before and I am quite a shy person so it was quite good to get out there and actually get to meet similar minded people who write the blogs I read! I chatted with Kim, Steph, Laura and Lily-it was so lovely to meet you all!
I'll be sharing a "what I wore" post soon!
