Look, no Tights

Dress: Primark
Boots: Clarks
Jacket: ASOS White Lable
Cardigan: Vintage
Fur Collar (just seen) :Gap

So yesterday's post was short and sweet because I was keen to spend the evening with Adrian, we had a curry and exchanged anniversary gifts (conversely we had bought each other almost identical things, which just goes to show how similar we are!) Adrian also drew me a lovely picture and gave me a card and they both made me cry (in a good way) ahhh :) Hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's day too.
I dug out this dress again the other day to wear with these Clarks boots which I had almost forgotten I had! Can you believe that, I must have about 4 pairs of black ankle boots and so they do get rotated and these were lurking under my clothing rail! So out they came. They're so comfy and I love the length. I have bare legs in these pictures, I must be mad I know although the weather here has been so much milder of late; I did have thermal socks on under those boots mind. I can't wait to be able to wear skirts in the summer again without tights :)
This evening I decided enough was enough and I had to do a bit of exercise. I want to tone up a bit and despite the fact that I do a lot of walking, I wanted to kick start a regular routine of exercise so I did my Ministry of Sound "pump it up" DVD. I am certain I will be in agony tomorrow but it felt great to move about and I do feel energised now. I also want to start pilates, I've done a bit of yoga but pilates looks like it would be really good especially for my bad back.
I have these really, really vile trainers that I wear to do exercise in, they are putrid, shiny black and blue and green, I am only sharing this because they're that weird 'easytone' style trainer and they make SUCH a difference to your workout. I feel them working as soon as I put them on, they put you off balance and make your muscles work hard to stabilise you. They are really odd to wear and make you feel like you're drunk! I wore them for the first time when I went for a run with Adrian-he took off with great gusto in his football trainers and I had to bring up the rear, rolling along like blimming Ronald McDonald. However, if they make my bum look good I won't care!

Your skirt is so lovely. The color, the flowy material. Very feminine and sweet.

You looks so pretty and feminine, Amie!
I can't wait to chuck aside the boots, tights, coats and hats, I feel so drab and dowdy under all those layers.
I used to do Pilates regularly, it is brilliant when you've got back problems. xxx
