Beatnik Sunday....

Well! We went out last night, after living in Bristol for 6 months it was my first proper night out (with drinking!) and as such I am minging today! Yuk! I remember why I don't drink that often. 3 of my favourite tipples (Southern Comfort and Lemonade) and I was well away! We went to a really cool bar and stayed there to watch a gig and hang out with friends we've made which was lovely. We then got the night bus home, which was an experience to say the least but at £2.50 a million miles cheaper than a taxi. Since we are both feeling less than our best today, it's all about the comfort dressing.

Needless to say this morning has been all about sitting on the sofa and drinking tea. Adrian is suffering more than me, neither of us are big drinkers and we went for it a bit last night so we are both feeling rather delicate today. Plus it is pouring down so outside photo's or even a much desired bootsale trip are both out of the question. I managed to get a bit of DIY in, mind-I made this feather necklace from a feather I found and an old pendant chain.

Tunic: Jaeger Chino's: Zara Pumps: Gap Necklace: DIY Cuff & Watch: Vintage
This tunic from Jaeger is one of my best ever charity shop finds. Oddly enough I'd seen this top in my local branch of John Lewis and it was something ridiculous like £60, in the sale! I thought it was lovely, especially the boatneck detail and it fits really nicely, but there was no way I could afford it! So you can imagine how chuffed I was to find this one in a charity shop for £2.25! Needless to say it was snapped up immediately!

Hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend. Thankyou for all those of you who have commented saying how much you like my blog-means so much to me!

You're looking ever so stylish for a hungover Sunday! Me, I don't even get dressed in situations like that if I can help it - pyjamas all the way!
