Wedding Guest Outfit: My Pick...

All this talk of the Royal Wedding has made me want to pick an outfit for MY friend's wedding, coming up in July. Sad to say, I already have my dress, but if budget were no object, I'd start again and choose this lovely look. I am SO feeling my vintage pieces again; I think there's nothing nicer than looking individual in a piece that you know is wholly unique. With this in mind, I raided The Cherry Closet and found this gorgeous 'Ladies That Lunch Laugh More' two-piece. For £50 smackers you get this incredible peachy pink dress and matching jacket combo. Sweeeeet!

Me being me, I'd modernise this frock with bang up to date jewellery (simple, as the dress and jacket are quite detailed). My choice, if money were no object, would be House of Harlow 1960, I love Nicole Richie's boho-inspired pieces which still maintain a classically chic look about them. You can buy them at ASOS. I liked the horseshoe bangle and disc earrings best.

I liked these Topshop 'Jaguar' heels because they are a little bit edgy, whilst still being smart enough for wedding attire. I like the mix of the floaty chiffon dress with the suede textured shoes. I'd also add in this fabulous Topshop oversized moc croc clutch which I'd carry along with the jacket.

I'd probably carry the jacket over my arm with the clutch if the weather on the day was warm, which I hope it will be! So if anyone wants to buy me this outfit I'd love that haha!!
Will you be going to any summer weddings? and if so, what will you be wearing?
xoxo
