Much Better Pictures.....

After having a mini-meltdown yesterday about a) My epic Credit Crunch Challenge fail, b) the shameful embarrassment of the state of my Lookbook.nu photo's, and c) uber work stresses, I have calmed down and taken stock. The boy, as ever, was on hand to proffer ace advice and acer cuddles to cheer me up.
Drawn from this, I have decided that all my Lookbook pics should be deleted (check) and I shall begin again, but perhaps only post once a week on the site. Quality, not Quantity, isn't it. It's too much trying to keep on top of this blog, plus Lookbook, plus Chictopia. SO! I'm going to carry on outfit-posting here daily, so you'll have to bare with the mirror pictures until such time as I figure out a tripod, BUT once a week I will be posting better pictures not taken by me, as I have recruited photographically advanced snappers to take my picture in the form of the Boy (thankyou) and my mum (thankyou.)
These pictures were taken by my mum, she's very good with the direction.
Back to the fash....I was feeling a bit inspired by Wang today so I chose some slouchy tailoring with a little military vibe. The trousers are classic harems with matelot buttons, I love them, and wear them a lot. Khaki is also so big right now, with a bit of beige the palette looks fairly on trend I think.
Bag: Topshop, Jacket: Primark, Sunnies: Roxy, Tee: Stella McCartney, Boots: New Look, Necklace: Topshop, Cuff and Rings: Primark.

I am also pleased to report that my Elle magazine has now arrived, at LAST! I'm getting stuck into it as I type! I love Chloe Sevigny and so I was happy to see she was on the cover.
Thankyou for all your lovely comments as ever! I love to read them, and they always cheer me up.
xoxo

I always have a melt down about my pictures I never really know whether it is about the outfit or the pictures. I have noticed with Lookbook that it is about the pictures Chictopia not so much.

aww thankyou lovely :)

I didn't realise you have these boots too, from New Look? Yeah its wierd they are SO comfy but its almost as if my foot slips down inside them when I walk along and it rubs my toes too :( must be the design!

I'm so impressed with New Look at the moment they have some great bits and very resonable prices too! :)

Your pictures always look gorgeous you never have to worry :) I just felt so babyish on Lookbook taking mine in the mirror when everyone else looks so professional...oh well, hopefully that will change now! xoxo

Oh my gosh I completely know what you mean about poses for Lookbook - I'm less fussy about my Chictopia poses, something about Chictopia is less pretentious sometimes, you know?

My housemates are photographers and after next week I'm basically taking full advantage of this and going to take pictures when we can put the time into it. Definitely agree with the quality over quantity!

I LOVE those harems. I really want to buy a pair, but trousers never seem to sit right on me. Adore the jacket too. So on trend.

I want to take out an Elle subscription so bad - it'd save me money! Maybe for my birthday.
