Learning

Like many, I have been closely following the news following the death of George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement. I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge that on my blog, it wouldn't be right (to me) to just go back to posting pictures of clothing and beauty products. I also want to acknowledge my pledge to do better and be more supportive and helpful. I might get things wrong, in fact I am sure I will, but I will learn from the discomfort. It's the least I can do.

We must do all that we can to stand up in the face of injustice.

Some content creators that I really enjoy on Instagram, some of whom I've followed for years, some of whom I've found recently:

@blueprintDIY
@fashionwizardry
@being.just.jude
@kevinmorosky
@ginamartin
@tollydollyposh
@ajabarber
@sheflourished_
@gracefvictory
@shewearsfashion
@stephanieyeboah
@sophieeggleton

I'm not sure anyone reads my blog these days but maybe if they do they might find these accounts interesting. Just a small selection but accounts that I find extremely helpful, so I hope you do too.

In the meanwhile there are lots of charities you can donate to that can help if you can, and also petitions you can sign if you're unable to donate (or as well as) There's some links below.

Black Lives Matter
Justice for George Floyd
Justice for Belly Mujinga
Show Racism the Red Card
Hope not Hate
