Weekend casual

Wearing: blouse, jeans and shoes from White Stuff

As I've already mentioned (and you'll have seen if you follow me on Instagram) last weekend I was invited to take part in the White Stuff 30th birthday get together, at Camp WoWo in Sussex. White Stuff is a brand I've worked with several times on the blog, so I was super excited to be invited along to enjoy some down time in a beautiful relaxed location.

I went along to the event with my mum and we spent Saturday relaxing, walking around the beautiful site and taking advantage of the good weather. We were lucky enough to be 'glamping' and stayed in an incredible gypsy wagon named 'Clarabella.' There was no phone signal at the campsite and it was so nice to be able to switch off and really chill out, even if only for a few hours.

I will be talking more in depth about the weekend and the different activities on offer over the coming couple of posts, as I ended up snapping so many pics it would be a bit much to share them all in one post! I thought it would be nice to post what I wore on the Saturday, as temperatures hit the low 30's which is incredibly warm for the UK!

My mum had thought ahead and dressed in lots of layers, even bringing shorts! I think I still had memories of the chill at Secret Garden Party (read about that here) and had packed a rain coat, several cardigans and some long sleeved tops; error in the sweltering heat! Luckily I had my favourite Southern Ocean cropped jeans which I wore rolled down with some sandals and a lightweight blouse. For evening I switched out the blouse for a linen top and lightweight cardigan which was perfect under clear starry skies.

I had such a wonderful weekend and I will be talking more about the event over the next couple of posts!
