My Flash Trash #CharmGang

Charm bracelet c/o My Flash Trash

In yesterday's post I was sporting a new piece of arm candy in the form of this pretty bracelet by cool jewellery brand My Flash Trash. The idea behind the piece is simple; choose your bracelet, which comes complete with a punched out, 'ID' bracelet style metal link, and then you can buy as many or few charms as you would like to attach to it.

Founded in 2009, My Flash Trash is the result of the hard work and forward thinking of Made in Chelsea starlet, Amber Atherton. Initially setting up the website as a platform to sell boutique and smaller brands from one easy location, Amber designed this new take on the charm bracelet in 2015, for the sassy, stylish and forward thinking girl.

The bracelets themselves come in several different colours and styles, consisting of 'Flash' gold metallic bangles and plated charms, and 'Trash' brightly coloured cord friendship bracelets with silver charms. Both styles of charm fit on to either bracelet so they can be mixed and matched or you can remain within the same colour palette to suit your own personal style. There are many alternative charms to choose from and the 'Trash' bracelets come in several cord colours.

I chose a plain black bracelet with a silver plate as I thought this would probably work with most of my other jewellery and as I tend not to wear much colour I felt it would be quite easy to wear with most looks. I struggled to choose three charms as there are so many fabulous ones to pick from, but in the end I settled on a cute 'A' initial, a silver swallow, and a razor blade which I just thought was quite cool!

Due to the 11 holes along the plate of the bracelet you can easily decide where to put the charms or move them around to suit, you can wear one single charm or stack them up for a look that's completely individual to you.

You can shop the entire My Flash Trash collection on the website here.
